MMScan2000 for MS Outlook

MMScan2000 is the extending COM Add-In modul of the application MS Outlook 2000 or higher. Scanning of one or more black and white or colour documents directly to MS Outlook 2000 form is the main purpose of MMScan2000. These documents can be consecutive processed as the common supplements.

MMScan2000 allows to extend the function of applications made on MS Exchange Server, e.g. circulating of correspondence and drawing documentation inside or outside of the organisation, delegating of tasks together with written or graphical supports, commenting of documents, circulating of mailing, etc.

The control of the scanner is integrated to the MS Outlook 2000 form. The way of processing of the written or drawing documentation does not vary from the other documents processed at the system MS Exchange Server.

Instalation

Latest version - 12/08/2002

	UnInstall previous version MMScan2000.
	Download the file scantool.exe (for all MS Windows).
	Run scantool.exe.
	Continue according to instructions of the installation programme .


How to begin

	Check the function of installed scanner (e.c. run the programme Imaging that is a part of system MS Windows and scan an examinational page).
	Run the programme MS Outlook 2000 and create new message or other document
	Choose the item „Scanned Document“ at menu bar „Insert“
	Write the name of scanned document to the text field and push the button „OK“. The scanned form is opened.
	Input the first page of the scanned document to the scanner.
	Push the button „Add Page“ and scan the page. Using this button scan all pages of the document.

In conclusion push the button „Input to item“. The scanned document is inserting into the body of the message or another MS Outlook 2000 form.
